We've been working to support women and girls in the Rheinisch-Bergisch district since 1985.
Our goals are to protect and empower women and girls, to draw attention to the subtle and overt violence women and girls face and to improve their living conditions. We work to achieve these goals through our three centres.
Corona: We are still here for you in these difficult times! The women's refuge is still accepting women (provided there is a free place) and the advice centres continue to offer advice.
You can come to us if you need somewhere to go because you're at risk of physical or emotional abuse.
You can bring your children.
You can phone the women's refuge (Frauenhaus) on 02202-42682
or the police on 110.
Any woman aged 18 or over can get advice and information from the women's advice centre in person, by phone or online.
We mainly advise women experiencing or at risk of domestic violence, women with eating disorders and women who've experienced sexual abuse.
But we can also give you advice on other matters.
You're welcome to get in touch.
You can phone the women's advice centre on 02202-45112.
The girls' advice centre is our newest "baby". We provide support to girls aged 12 or over and people they trust.
Our prevention events inform girls, raise their awareness and empower them.
Girls who can't visit us in person, or who don't want to, can message us or chat with us via the online girls' advice centre.
You can call the girls' advice centre on 02202-9891155.
